The Ceremony

Although we don’t have a licensed structure for Civil Ceremonies, you can choose a local church, or you can arrange a Celebrant Ceremony so everything takes place on site, in one place.

As we've never been a venue with a licensed structure to allow civil ceremonies the changes to allow licensed outdoor ceremonies does not apply to us. However we believe that further changes to the law where couples can legally get married in any outdoor space in the UK aren't too far away.

Celebrant ceremony

Celebrant ceremonies or ‘blessings’ are becoming a more and more popular choice for outdoor weddings. It means your guests don’t miss out on the ceremony element of your day (if you choose to get the legal part out of the way beforehand) and is a great choice for a tipi wedding, whether it’s held outdoors or inside the tipis.

Subject to completing the legal formalities, you can choose to celebrate your day in your own unique way by creating a personalised, bespoke ceremony that reflects your personalities.

Keeping it traditional

If you’d prefer to keep an element of tradition about your day, you can opt for a church wedding or civil ceremony and retreat back to the tipis at Belcote Farm for your Wedding Breakfast and celebrations.
